ABOUT DIRECTOR

The director of Ad-Lib Theatre Arts is Victoria Rice.

After studying at Queen Margaret University college,  in Edinburgh, for a B.A (hons) in Drama and Theatre Arts, specialising in Directing and Community Theatre, Victoria has worked with many theatre companies across Scotland.
She started out as an avid fan of amateur theatre and was involved in many different productions back home in Montrose including Bella in the Scottish Premiere of 'Rags' and Dorothy in 'The wizard of Oz'.
As she was studying she continued her passion for acting and singing whilst also pursuing a career in youth theatre.
Victoria feels after working with so many different theatre companies, including Activate Scotland, Stagecoach Theatre Arts, Scottish Youth Theatre and Perth and Kinross Council,she now possesses the expertise and passion to run her own theatre company.
Victoria is a very friendly, honest and hard working individual, she feels children from all walks of life should have the option to attend classes in Drama and Theatre Arts as it is so beneficial to them. Therefore that is why she offers this service at a very affordable rate.
Victoria is a experienced performer and vocalist and wants to share her passion with children.
Her favourite roles have been;

Laura 'The Glass Menagierie'
Mary Magdalen 'Jesus Christ Superstar'
Madame Raynevskaia 'The Cherry Orchard'
